Staff Selection Commission had declared the number of posts to be filled in CGL 2016. The official No. of Vacancies has not been shown in official notification but it is however stated that the no. of vacancies will be determined at least one month before the declaration of final results. The Firm number of vacancies in each category of posts will be determined at least one month before the declaration of the final result of SSC CGL.

SSC CGL 2016 vacancies - clarification notice

There are 3815 vacancies at the end of first round. These will be increased as many major departments are yet to announce vacancies. The actual no. of vacancies will be determined at the time of tier 2 examination.

The vacancies had been declared by SSC and will increase or decrease as per SSC decision.

Application Fees:
Rs.100 for UR/OBC candidates but no fees for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/EXS Categories. Candidates applying online should pay fee through SBI Challan or Online Account with SBI. Challan will be generated after completion of online registration Part-I.
SSC CGL Exam Age Limit 
For Statistical Investigator Gr. II post, your age must not be exceeding 26 years and above, for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI, your age should be between 20-27 years. And for all remaining posts your age should be in between 18 to 27 years. For reserved category candidates, age relaxation will be as per the government rules.
Educational Qualification:

Applicants must have completed their bachelor degree in any streams from a recognized university.
