Staff Selection Commission has released the Notification forSSC CGL 2014. Those candidates who want to apply can apply within below given dates. The official No. of Vacancies has not been shown in official notification but it is however stated that the no. of vacancies will be determined at least one month before the declaration of final results.

Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Exam. 2014
Closing date of applications for part 1 Registration- 12.02.2014 (up to 5:00pm)
Closing date of applications for part 2 Registration - 14.02.2014 (up to 5:00pm)

According to SSC CGL 2014 recruitment notification, Firm number of vacancies in each category of posts will be determined at least one month before the declaration of the final results of SSC CGL 2014.
The number of vacancies in SSC CGL 2014 will be however an estimation which is based on recent years of vacancies in Staff Selection Commission Common Graduate Level Test.
ESTIMATED NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 20000 TO 25000
The vacancies are just estimation and can increase or decrease as per SSC decision.
Application Fees:
Rs.100 for UR/OBC candidates but no fees for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/EXS Categories. Candidates applying online should pay fee through SBI Challan or Online Account with SBI. Challan will be generated after completion of online registration Part-I.
SSC CGL Exam Age Limit (as on January 1/ 2014)
For Statistical Investigator Gr. II post, your age must not be exceeding 26 years and above, for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI, your age should be between 20-27 years. And for all remaining posts your age should be in between 18 to 27 years. For reserved category candidates, age relaxation will be as per the government rules.
Educational Qualification:

Applicants must have completed their bachelor degree in any streams from a recognized university.
