SSC CGL 2014 EXAM POSTPONED DUE TO GENERAL ELECTIONS-LATEST NEWS-NEW SCHEDULE

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had issued notification for conducting CGL (Combined Graduate Level Examination) and scheduled this examination on 27th April 2014 and on 4th May 2014. But the latest news from the Staff Selection Commission is now that this examination had been postponed now due to General Elections which are to be conducted in April 2014. This is a much awaited news for most of the candidates who are preparing for SSC CGL 2014 EXAM as there had been rumours that SSC CGL 2014 Exam may get cancelled. So now this news is official now from SSC Website.

When will SSC CGL 2014 be held:
So now the question that arises is that when will the SSC CGL 2014 EXAM will be held. As per the notification released by SSC, SSC CGL 2014 exam will be held in the second half of the current year 2014. So the new dates of conducting of SSC CGL exam will be anytime in second half of 2014. However, please note that the exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in 2nd half of the current year. The new dates of the conducting of SSC CGL 2014 EXAM will be intimated in the due course. However it is expected that the exam might be conducted in July 2014.
Why SSC CGL 2014 was postponed:
SSC CGL 2014 was postponed and the new scheduled of the exam is in second half of 2014. The main reason behind this postponement is the conducting of General Elections in India in the month of April. The second reason of postponement is the re-examination of SSC CGL 2013 at seven centres.
