About AP Post MTS Selection Process

Selection Procedure: Based on the marks obtained in the Aptitude Test, a merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared in each Postal/RMS Division separately. As per the availability of vacancies as notified above, selection will be made in the respective unit based on the merit list among the candidates applied for that particular Division/Unit only.

AP Post MTS Exam Pattern

i) Pattern and Syllabus for Examination:
Candidates shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test of the level of 10th Class/Matriculation covering the following subject/topics.
Total Marks: 100.
There will be one paper comprising of following four parts A, B, C, D each having 25 questions - 25 marks.
General Knowledge
English language
Tamil language

Qualifying marks:

a) Parts A & B- Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each part.
b) Part C (Two segments) – Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each segment.
c) 40 marks for OC, 33 marks for SC/ST and 37 marks for OBC candidates in aggregate with the condition as A & B above.

How to download AP Post MTS Admit Card 2015

To download hall tickets, candidates need to visit the direct link(s) given above. There they need to click on the related link for admit card. On the next page, they need to enter their registration number and password / date of birth and submit.
Their AP Post Admit card will be displayed by the website. Candidate need to take a print of it and bring it at the time of examination. All details like Exam date, Centre, roll number etc. will be mentioned on the admit card. Aspirants need to carefully read the instruction given on it and follow them accordingly.
Selection Process:

  • The selection for these posts is to be done through a merit list for the whole AP Circle which will be prepared in respect of all categories of post put together. 
  • Candidates will be allotted to the posts and the divisions as per their preference based on their position in the merit list and availability of vacancies.
  • Pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 (Pay Band –I) with Grade Pay Rs.1800 is applicable for these posts.
