UP State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) 2016 is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) every year for admission to First Year in B. Tech /B.Arch. / B.Pharm./ BHMCT/BFAD/BFA and 2nd Year in B. Tech and B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) course. Those candidates who are preparing for UPSEE 2016 i.e. UP State Entrance exam 2016 must start their preparation as the exam is near. UPSEE 2016 exam is going to be conducted now. If they prepare well during this time, then they can easily Qualify. And if they worked harder, then they might get better marks. The candidates should prepare according to UPSEE Exam Syllabus 2016 given here for better preparation. The syllabus can be downloaded from below given links. UPSEE Question Paper: Here are some question papers of UPSEE officially provided.

UPSEE 2016 Exam Pattern: In UPSEE-2016, 12 papers will be conducted having objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (paper 4 - part B). The candidates are required to opt for their papers and subjects for appearing in the UP State entrance examination.
As far as B.Tech. Course is concerned, total 150 objective type questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a total of 150 questions.
Paper No. - Course - Subjects

Paper 1 – B. Tech. / B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
50 Questions each on physics, chemistry and mathematics. So total questions would be 150.
Total marks: 600.

Paper 2 – B.Tech. (Bio Technology) - Physics, Chemistry and Biology
50 objective type questions will be asked from each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a total of 150 questions.
Total marks: 600.

Paper 1 or Paper 2 - B.Tech. (Bio Technology)
Paper 1 or Paper 2 B.Pharm.

Paper 3 – B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) only - AG-I, AG-II and AG-III
50 objective type questions with a total of 150 questions.
Total marks: 600

Paper 4 – B.Arch. - Aptitude Test for Architecture
Part A: Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity; Part B: Drawing Aptitude
50 objective type questions each of Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity with a total of 100 questions and Two questions to test drawing aptitude.
Total marks: 500.

Paper 5 – BHMCT / BFAD / BFA - Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT/BFAD/BFA)
The paper will consist of 75 objective type questions.
Total marks: 300.

Paper 6 – Lateral Entry for B.Tech. 2nd Year (for Engg. Diploma Holders) - Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering (Lateral Entry)
The paper will consist of 75 objective type questions.
Total marks: 300.

Paper 7 – Lateral Entry for B.Pharm 2nd Year(for Pharmacy Diploma Holders) - Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)
The paper will consist of 75 objective type questions.
Total marks: 300.

Paper 8 – Lateral Entry for B.Tech. 2nd Year (for B. Sc. Graduates) - Aptitude Test for B.Sc. Graduates in Engineering (Lateral Entry)
The paper will consist of 75 objective type questions.
Total marks: 300.

Paper 9 – MBA - Aptitude Test for MBA: 100 Objective Questions for 400 total marks

Paper 10 – MCA - Aptitude Test for MCA: 100 Objective Questions for 400 total marks

Paper 11 – MAM (Dual Degree) - Aptitude Test for MAM: 100 Objective Questions for 400 total marks

Paper 12 – Lateral Entry for Second Year MCA - Aptitude Test for 2nd Year MCA (Lateral Entry): 100 Objective Questions will be asked carrying 400 marks.

After UPSEE 2016 exam, a separate merit lists will be prepared for each course based on performance of the candidates in UPSEE-2016.

UPSEE 2016 Cut off Marks: The cut-off percentage of marks in UPSEE-2016 is 25% (20% for SC/ST).
