Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had finally declared the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) on 16 August 2016. The written test of NEET-II on 24 July 2016 from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

The result of NEET 1 & 2 Combined is available at website. You can check it via the below link. On the basis of result, candidates will be ranked / shortlisted for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses.
NEET 1 was held on 01 May 2016 and NEET-II was organized on 24 July 2016. Both these exam's combined result is available now.

How to check NEET Result 2016 @

You need to enter your roll no. and date of birth in the fields given at below link to know your result. You need to Type DOB in dd/mm/yyyy format or select from the calendar icon.
NEET 2016 results will also be available on “DigiResults” website at ( a CBSE initiative in collaboration
with DigiLocker.

NEET Rank letter 2016

Soon your NEET 2016 digital rank letters will be available in DigiLocker (, for those who have qualified under 15% All India quota seats. Please sign up for DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar number to access it. If you already have a DigiLocker account, please make sure to link your Aadhaar number to your account.

Around 90% of 4.76 lakh candidates had appeared for NEET exam which was organized at 739 centres in 56 cities.
Earlier NEET I was held on May 1, 2016 in which around 6.67 lakh students appeared. Most students found Biology easy in comparison to Physics. NEET 2 was held on 24 July 2016 and many students who had given NEET 1 or analysed that one, found it hard as compared to NEET 1. To ensure fair conduct of examination, more than 2,000 observers were deputed.

NEET 1 & 2 Combined Result - CBSE AIPMT / NEET Result Counselling updates

The OMR sheets was available for checking from 04 to 06 August 2016 and answer key on 7 August. Neet 1 & 2 Result is declared by August 16. Now the counselling is going to be held.

NEET Merit list Rank

Central Board of Secondary Education will prepare the merit list/ wait list as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI. Nerit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank. There will not be any category wise result sheet.

NEET Cut off marks

The minimum cut off mark to qualify NEET 2016 entrance exam is:

  • 50 % for general - 360 marks
  • 40% for OBC, SC & ST - 288 marks
  • 45% for general PH category candidates - 324 marks
