RBI has Re-Scheduled Phase I - ONLINE Examination for Recruitment of officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General -2018 and Paper I for DEPR/DSIM will be held on September 2, 2018 (Sunday) only for Kerala candidates who could not attend the exam on August 16, 2018. Admission letters are available for download.


The Admit card for RBI Grade B Phase 1 Exam is available now. Phase 1 Exam is on 16 August 2018. Candidates have to visit the website at direct link below and download their admit card from there using their registration details. All the details regarding written exam date, venue and time will be mentioned in the RBI Grade B Officer admit card.

Admit card / Admission letter are to be available at below link. The written examination will be online computer based test. It consists of two phases, viz., Phase-I and Phase-II, followed by Interview. While Phase-I examination will continue as per existing Phase-I examination for Grade-‘B’ (DR), Phase-II examination will consist of three papers of which two will be compulsory papers and one optional paper. The compulsory papers are Paper-I on ‘English’ and Paper-II on ‘Economic and Social Issues’. The optional Paper- Paper-III will have options of subjects, viz., ‘Finance & Management’ or ‘Economics’ or ‘Statistics’. In Phase-II the paper on ‘English’ will be descriptive type and computer based, i.e. to be typed on computer screen with the help of the keyboard.

i) Phase-I : Objective Type - 2 hours - 200 marks.
Depending on the number of candidates, the examination may be held on some other days also. A candidate, however, has to appear for examination in only one shift on any day. The date, time and venue on which a candidate has to appear for examination will be specified in the Admission Letter (AL) to be downloaded by the candidate.
(ii) Phase-II: Three Papers - 300 marks
Paper-I – online- English-( writing skills)- 1½ hours - 100 marks
Paper-II – Economic and Social Issues – 1½ hours – 100 marks
Paper-III - Optional Paper (Finance & Management/ Economics/ Statistics) – 1½ hours - 100 marks.
The Phase-II examination will be in shifts. Candidates are required to appear for all shifts. Separate Admission Letters will be issued for each shift. The time-table for Phase-II will be intimated to the candidates concerned along with Admission Letter for Phase-II. Phase–II online examination will consist of three papers.
(iii) Interview: 50 marks
Selection for the post will consist of two phases, viz. - Phase-I & Phase-II followed by interview.
RBI Zones:
Selected candidates will be initially posted in RBI’s office within the Recruitment Zone for which they had applied. However, they are liable to be transferred in administrative exigencies to centres grouped and classified into West, South, North and East Zone offices as under:
(a) East Zone:
Bhubaneswar, Guwahati (including all North Eastern states), Kolkata and Patna (including Ranchi).
(b) West Zone:
Ahmedabad, Bhopal (including Raipur), Mumbai (including Belapur), Nagpur, Pune and Panaji.
(c) South Zone:
Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
(d) North Zone:
Chandigarh (including Shimla), Jaipur, Jammu / Srinagar, Kanpur, Lucknow (including Dehradun) and New Delhi.
