Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2018 Online form: Assam Police released an advertisement starting recruitment of 5494 Constable (Unarmed/Armed) posts. There will be reservation for ST (P) 10%, ST(H) 5%, SC 7%, & OBC/MOBC 27%. The posts are in the Pay Scale Rs. 14000- 49000/-, with Grade pay of Rs 5600 (Pay Band-II). Online forms can be submitted from 02 May to 02 June 2018. Selection will be done through written & physical test. All Candidates will have to appear for their PST/PET & Written Test only from the district under which their permanent Residential address falls. Eligibility Criteria:
    Candidates must be Indian Citizen, ordinarily resident of Assam.
    Age limit: 18-25 years as on 01.01.2018 (born on or before 01.01.2000 and on or after 01.01.1993).
    Age Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC.

     Minimum Educational Qualifications:
     (i) Un-Armed Branch: H.S. or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of Constable, Unarmed Branch, District Executive Force (DEF).
    (ii) Armed Branch: H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of constable of Armed Branch.
    Candidates having educational qualification Higher Secondary and above may also apply for both Armed Branch & Unarmed Branch.
